Sharon Helsby BSc (Hons) MCSP SRP

Sharon HelsbySharon graduated from Hertfordshire University in 2000 with a Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons).  In 2000 she accepted a position at Wexham Park and Heatherwood NHS Trust as a junior physiotherapist and completed 24 months of rotations through various specialities.  In 2002 Sharon was promoted to a Senior II where she specialised in musculoskeletal outpatients.

In 2005 Sharon made the move from NHS to private healthcare assuming a position as a Senior I musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapist at Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor.  It was during her time at Princess Margaret Hospital  that she developed a special interest in hips.  Sharon worked alongside Mr Rowan Pool (SOS Centres Orthopaedic Consultant) further developing her skills and knowledge in this area.

In 2008 Sharon joined `Sports Orthopaedics Spinal` at the Weybridge centre to become a clinical specialist in hips and develop the Hip Clinic with Mr Rowan Pool and the team.

Sharon also  participates in a number of sports including triathlon and running and has qualified to represent Great Britain in the `ITU Triathlon World Championships`, for the last 2 years.  She uses this experience in treating and rehabilitating athletes of all levels.
