Carla Downton BSc (Hons) Ost

Carla graduated from The London School of Osteopathy in 2002 with a first Class honours degree in Osteopathy. Having worked previously as a Sports Therapist she was soon able to develop two busy Osteopathic Clinics, one in Brentwood and one at Nuffield Health Club in Chelmsford.

In 1998 Carla worked with The Devonport Field Gun Crew at the Royal Tournament in London. She has always had a keen interest in Sports Injuries and has worked alongside the United Karate association treating junior and senior international competitors for over 10 years. Carla also had the opportunity to work on "The Gladiators", contenders and crew members during the filming of The Gladiators for London Weekend Television.

Carla is passionate about Osteopathy and is comfortable treating a range of patients of any age, from those who are in acute pain, to chronic pain. The aim is to work closely with each patient to fully explain the diagnosis and treatment plan to help restore the body to health. Empowering each patient with the knowledge to prevent a recurrence of pain.
