Sky Sports News Once Again Turns to SOS Centres Experts

Sky Sports News visited SOS Centres again last week to seek the expert opinion of two leading Golf Specialists. On the back of Tiger Woods remarkable start to the season, winning 7 consecutive tournaments, Sky Sports News wanted to know what made 'The Tigernator' tick?

SOS Centre clinicians Jonathan Shrewsbury and Justin Buckthorp were interviewed as part of an expert panel tasked with explaining just why Tiger is such a dominant force in World Golf.

sky_sports_news1.gifJonathan Shrewsbury explained that there are 3 main components to a professional golfers performance, firstly technical ability, secondly  mental strength and thirdly physical conditioning. 'Tiger Woods manages to align all 3 at the same time better than any other professional'.

Jonathan goes on to add 'that when Tiger Woods is walking down the last few holes, the very last thing he needs to worry about is his physical conditioning or fatigue setting in. He knows he is in better shape than everybody on the course, therefore he just has to remain focused on his mental and technical performance'.

Justin Buckthorp discussed the the specifics of Tiger's physical preparation. Justin explained that: 'much like programming a computer, if you put junk in, you get junk out'. He added: 'His programme will be very precise and disciplined to provide him with longevity of career but all the attributes for here and now.

As you can expect all the experts agreed on one thing....That Tiger Woods is here as a dominant force for a good few years to come!
