Orthopaedics is the branch of surgery concerned with acute, chronic, traumatic, and overuse injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopaedic surgeons address most musculoskeletal ailments including arthritis, trauma and congenital deformities using both surgical and non-surgical means.
